Q1: How to register for the competition?

A: Online registration is adopted for the competition, please visit the official website of the competition http://www.running-robot.net and fill in the information about the team and team members.

Q2: Is there any participating fee? If it is, how much is it?

A: There is no participating fee.

Q3: When and Where will the competition be held?

A: The 2023 competition is tentatively scheduled to be held in Beijing in August. For more informations, please pay attention to our official website http://www.running-robot.net 

Q4: How does the competition process go on?

A: 1. The participating teams need to register online on the official website of the competition first; 2. The organizing committee shall conduct preliminary qualification examination for the teams that have completed the registration; 3. Teams that pass the preliminary qualification examination and need to rent robots need to complete the online test on the official website of the competition, and teams that do not need to rent robots can directly start to prepare for the competition; 4. The organizing committee arranges mailing robots for the teams that pass the online test; 5. The teams receiving the robot starts to prepare for the competition; 6. The competition is held; 7. Returning the robots.

Q5: Are there any restrictions on the number of teams in the competition?

A: The number of team members should be no more than 6, including 5 team members and 1 instructor.

Q6: Does every member of the team need to register?

A: No. Each team needs to select one representative to fill in the relevant information of the team in the registration system to complete the competition registration.

Q7: Does the competition require academic qualifications?

A: There are no restrictions on academic qualifications, as long as they are qualified for the relevant tasks.

Q8: Do teams need to go to Beijing in the finals of the competition? How long does it take to stay in Beijing? Do all the team numbers need to come to Beijing to compete?

A: In principle, the teams participating in the offline competition need to come to Beijing at the final of the competition. If  having difficulties, they need to inform the secretariat of the organizing committee in advance, and secretariat will arrange staffs to complete the competition on behalf of the participating teams. There is no restriction on the numbers of players coming to Beijing, as long as it does not affect the team's performance.

Q9: Who are the participants of the competition?

A: (1) Scientific research organizations or individuals of universities, scientific research institutions and enterprises engaged in relevant research all over the world. (2) The winning teams in the international robot competition. (3) groups or individuals recommended by social groups in the field of international robotics. (4) Other groups or individuals with autonomous intelligent robot programming ability.
